Becoming an Ally: Being an Active Bystander with the Centre for Sexuality

This workshop will discuss the impact of oppression on 2SLGBTQ+ individuals and explore lived experiences of power and privilege. Listen as the Centre for Sexuality facilitators share strategies to address bullying, prevent harassment, and highlight the roles of bystanders. As a participant, you will learn strategies to address bullying and prevent harassment towards gender and sexually diverse people. This workshop will give you tools to address discriminatory behaviors in a way that empowers the person experiencing harassment, and help you better understand how to address a harasser.
