Make giving easy
Break down barriers to encourage giving
We know there isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach to giving; that’s why we have a variety of options to suit the unique needs of your organization. From printable donation forms to payroll donations to online giving, you name it, we’ve got it.
These resources will help you show that giving is a worthwhile investment—including why giving to United Way makes the greatest difference for our community, the tax benefits of giving, and the easy ways your co-workers can make a gift.
We’re further supporting virtual and cashless campaigns, leveraging digital tools for employee giving, special events, and other fundraising initiatives. While we are encouraging contactless donation methods, United Way will still be accepting cash and cheques. These can be mailed to United Way or your staff partner can pick them up. Please connect with your United Way staff partner to determine the best and safest way to hand off any paper materials.
Online giving
Go paperless with our online workplace giving tools! A personalized link is emailed to your co-workers, directing them to our online giving system where they can choose the donation method that works best for them. If you’re interested in using an online system, contact your United Way staff partner or give today.

United Way offers this added service to donors, giving them the option to designate any part of their donation to a registered Canadian charity. This includes coverage for the costs associated with processing and distributing those donations.
Tax benefits
Donations qualify for great tax benefits. See what it costs per pay period, after tax incentives, to make an impact. For more information about tax credits, please visit the CRA website.
Investment levels

Giving is a personal choice. At United Way, we believe no one should feel pressured to give and everyone should be able to make their own, informed choice. Asking someone to make a gift is not the same as pressuring them to participate. As you run your campaign, if you have concerns, please talk to your United Way staff partner.
